Social Shindig Services is an exciting events company which specifically tailors social events and recreation programs for adults with disabilities living on the Central Coast, NSW.
Social Shindigs has been developed by Abbey & Lauren, who both have over 20 years experience in working with people with disabilities in various roles including support worker, residential manager, day program coordinator, and tutor with the Central Coast Community College in its Inclusive Community Education Program (ICEP).
After much consultation with local community members, Social Shindigs recognised there was a lack of innovative recreation and entertainment options for adults with disabilities on the Central Coast. Social Shindig Services is passionate about encouraging its members to have more meaningful social interactions, make new friends and experience a wide variety of social entertainment in a fun, supported environment.
